The Course

Hole 17

A belting par four which will sort the men from the boys. A daunting tee shot must be struck well to carry the out of bounds that cuts in from the left, but at the same time must avoid fairway bunkers on either side. Even the best drive leaves a challenging mid-iron approach to a green guarded by a deep bunker to the right, and which has a gathering swale in the back left portion from which two putts are far from certain. One of the most difficult holes on the course at a crucial point in the round.
